Kothu Wheat Idiyappam
An interesting recipe with left-over Wheat Idiyappam.. Have added Egg and vegetables. Hence its a complete Breakfast!!!! You can also give to kids as a snack and the best part is you don't need any side dish for this.. You can prepare it instantly, if you have left over Idiyappam..
Here is the recipe!!!
Ingredients: (Recipe For 1)
Wheat Idiyappam - 2
Egg - 1
Big Onion - 1
Tomato - 1
Capsicum - 1 (very small)
Salt - As required
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 tsp
Curry Leaves - few
Oil - As required
Procedure:
- Break the Idiyappam into smaller pieces. Chop finely onion, capsicum and tomato.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and curry leaves. When they are translucent, add a egg.
- Saute it well. After the egg is roasted, add capsicum.
- After some time add tomatoes. Add salt, turmeric powder and chilli powder after the tomato is cooked.
- When everything gets mixed up, add Idiyappam. Mix them well so that masala sticks on to all Idiyappam.
- Add garam masala powder and switch off the flame..
- Serve it hot.. Your Instant, tasty and healthy Breakfast is ready!!
