Masala Pori (Masala Puffed rice)
Pori or puffed rice has less calories and no fat..Its very filling and best to have as a snack between meals..
Ingredients:
Pori - 1 cup (Puffed rice)
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Urad Dal - 1 tsp
Channa Dal - 1 tsp
Peanut - 2 tsp
Red Chilli - 1
Crushed Garlic - 1
Curry Leaves - few
Oil - As required
Tumeric Powder - 1 tsp
Salt - As required
Procedure:
- Heat oil in a heavy bottom cooker or a pan..
- Add mustard seeds, Urad dal ,channa dal, pea nuts,. Once it turns golden brown add red chillies, cruched garlic and curry leaves.
- After 1 minute, add salt and tumeric powder.. Saute for some seconds.. Add pori to it.. Mix it well.. keep on frying it for 3-5 minutes.
- Your masala pori is ready!!
