Aloo Gobi Gravy
Here its a simple, yet delicious Aloo - Gobi gravy.. Just boil potato and cauliflower and saute it together with some spices. Though there are many ways to prepare this gravy, this is the style which i prefer.. Here is the recipe!!
Ingredients: (Recipe For Two)
Cauliflower Florets - 1 cup
Potato - 1 (medium size)
Chopped Ginger - 1 tbsp
Chopped Green Chillies - 2
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Salt - As needed
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
Coriander Leaves - few
Oil - As needed
Procedure:
- Boil or steam potatoes.
- Clean cauliflower florets by placing it in boiling water for 10 minutes. Then wash it with cold water. Cook the cauliflower florets.
- Chop potato into cubes. Finely chop ginger and green chillies.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, ginger and chillies.. Then add potato and cauliflower florets.
- Add salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder and corinader powder.
- Add water which we used to cook cauliflower to the pan. Keep the pan in low flame for 10 minutes. Keep on stirring in between.
- Switch off the flame and add garam masala powder.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
- We had it with chapathi.. so the gravy was little watery.
- If you want to have with pulao, make the gravy little thicker..
